Native American Caucus Wants To Hear From Warren
A group of Native American delegates to the Democratic National Convention are asking U.S. Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren to attend their caucus tomorrow to explain the controversy over her claims of American Indian heritage.
The group, which includes the great-grandson of legendary Native American warrior Geronimo, want to hear what Warren has to say about her claims of Cherokee heritage that were listed in law school directories but were never shown to be true. The Warren campaign is not commenting on the invitation. Warren is scheduled to give a televised prime-time speech to the convention Wednesday night.
