After a week in which they saw catcher Jarrod Saltalmacchia sign for the Florida Marlins and center fielder Jacoby Ellsbury bolt for the New York Yankees, the Red Sox weren’t about to let first baseman Mike Napoli leave Boston.

The Sox gave Napoli a two-year deal, $32 million deal, according to reports.

“The beard is coming back to Boston!!! Couldn’t be happier!!,” Napoli posted on his official Twitter account.
