Another round of targeted ground spraying is scheduled to take place in New Bedford Thursday morning. 

 
Mayor Jon Mitchell's office says the Bristol County Mosquito Control Project will conduct the ground spraying between 2 a.m. and sunrise weather permitting.  
 
Areas targeted by this round of spraying include Buttonwood Park, Brooklawn Park, Fort Tabor, Hazelwood Park, Riverside Park, Clasky Park, Ashley Park, the Poor Farm area, Custom House Square and the Downtown area.  
 
Residents who live near the targeted areas may wish to close their windows Wednesday night before the spraying begins.
 
Any resident who wishes to request a ground spray in their area can call  the Bristol County Mosquito Control project at (508) 823-5253, between 8:00am - 2:00pm (June - September), or by E-mail at RequestBristolMCP@comcast.net
