The Bristol County Mosquito Control Project will be conducting another round of ground spraying in New Bedford early Thursday morning. 

Mayor Jon Mitchell's office says this round of ground spraying will target areas including Buttonwood Park, Brooklawn Park, Fort Tabor, Hazelwood Park, Riverside Park, Clasky Park, Ashley Park, the Poor Farm area, and Custom House Square.  
 
The spraying is scheduled to take place between 2 a.m. and sunrise, weather permitting.
 
Those who live near the targeted areas are being advised to close their windows on Wednesday night before the spraying begins.
 
Residents who wish to request a ground spraying in their area can do so by calling the Bristol County Mosquito Control project at (508) 823-5253, between 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. or through by email at RequestBristolMCP@comcast.net.
