Health officials are keeping a close eye on mosquitoes in the region after a few captured in Tiverton, Rhode Island tested positive for Eastern Equine Encephalitis.  The Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management says this is the third time this year the disease has been detected in the Ocean State.  While the infected insects usually feed exclusively on birds, health officials are warning residents to take extra care in protecting against mosquito bites.
