Momentary Light Flicker

Many Greater New Bedford residents were affected by a momentary loss of power Monday night around 9 pm. NSTAR spokesman Mike Durand says the brief flicker was caused by a pole breaking at a Carver sub station with a 345 thousand volt transmission line. The power never went out. NSTAR is investigating the cause of the brief outage.
