New Bedford Police continue to investigation the actions of a group of people last week, who allegedly chased down a robbery suspect, then stripped him of his clothing as punishment.  Chief David Provencher tells WBSM news, he's hoping to wrap up the investigation by the end of the week.  He says officers are still bringing people in and conducting interviews.  The suspect was running from the J & L Mini-mart last week with the store owner in pursuit, when he was run down by neighbors in the area.  The store owner told WBSM news, he had to jump on the suspect to protect him from the crowd.
