Mitchell Meets With Charlie Baker At City Hall

Last week, Mayor Jon Mitchell endorsed Democrat Martha Coakley for Governor of Massachusetts.

On Thursday, the Mayor met at City Hall with the Republican nominee for Governor, Charlie Baker.

According to the Mayor, Baker asked for the meeting.

Baker told WBSM News, he wanted to meet with Mitchell to discuss what's working in New Bedford that might help other cities in the commonwealth.
