Mayor Jon Mitchell is making another push to have NOAA make an "end to end" review of the science its using to set fishing rules and regulations.  Mitchell has written NOAA's Northeast Science and Research Director William Karp, asking for science that fishermen can  beleive in.  The Mayor tells WBSM News, its a matter of fairness.

Mitchell says if fishermen get more reliable information, they'll be more likely to accept conservation measures.  The Mayor is also asking Karp to support a delay in proposed cuts in yellowtail flounder, till the science review is complete  he says the cuts are impossible for New Bedford fishermen to accept because of concerns about the accuracy of government science.
