Mitchell Asks DESE For Help With Superintendent Search

The Mayor of New Bedford traveled to Boston on Thursday, making a stop at the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Mayor Jon Mitchell tells WBSM News, he’s seeking the state’s help in recruiting top notch candidates for the Superintendent’s job in New Bedford…

The Mayor and School Committee has named a Committee to conduct the search for a new Superintendent. They’re hoping to have the new Superintendent in place by the middle of the year.
