Missing North Attleboro Man Found Dead

A North Attleboro man, who went missing while on a bicycle trip from Massachusetts to Florida, has died.

66-year-old Richard Moreau was reported missing by his family after they hadn't heard from him since September 17th, where he was last seen at a Verizon store in Knightsdale, N.C.

Moreau left on August 26 and had been checking in daily with his family during his trip.

His family told ABC6 on Wednesday that he was found deceased in a tent at his campsite set up in North Carolina.

No foul play is suspected.

Moreau, who was grandfather of six, was pursuing a lifelong dream of bicycling all the way from Attleboro to Florida.
