A Saturday afternoon car accident knocked down a utility pole and power lines across Route 6 in Fairhaven, though no major injuries were reported, according to Fairhaven Fire Lieutenant Brian Messier.

The incident occured between Perry Street and Kane Street.

A sedan and a utility van were involved, but only one person was treated for minor injuries.

No power outages were reported due to the downed power line and crews worked quickly to clear the road of debris.
