The Fort Tabor-Fort Rodman Military Museum is opening Tuesday with extended hours, 11am to 4pm.

Its the Museum's annual Veterans Appreciation Day, saluting local veterans who served their country from the Revolutionary War, to the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Curator Bob Bromley tells WBSM News, visiting the Museum is a history lesson, especially for local residents....

Bromley is working on a new exhibit on the history of Fort Rodman.

Admission to the Military Museum at Fort Tabor Park is free Tuesday, and every day. Bromley says the Museum has welcomed almost 70,000 visitors over the past ten years.
