MIDDLEBOROUGH – A suspected drug dealer is facing multiple charges after he was caught selling a copious amount of drugs in Middleborough on Saturday.

According to a post on the official Facebook page of the Middleborough Police Department, several witnesses reported a subject “selling drugs” in the parking lot of the Village Market on Wareham Street.

When responding Officers AJ Lapanna and Peter Vanasse arrived on scene, they encountered 34 -year-old Michael Randall, of 436 Plymouth Street sitting his car. Police say that several patrons and other witnesses pointed the individual out as the person “selling drugs.”

After a brief field investigation, the officers found numerous types of illegal narcotics in Randall’s car, including psilocybin mushrooms, suboxone, Xanax, Gabapentin, over one pound of marijuana, 85 grams of marijuana concentrate, and approximately 95 grams of cocaine.

Police also uncovered packaging materials, a digital scale, and $2,619 in cash. A set of brass knuckles was also seized.

Randall was arrested and charged with trafficking class B, possession with intent to distribute class B, three counts of possession with intent to distribute class C, two counts of possession with intent to distribute class D, conspiracy to violate drug laws, and possession of a dangerous Weapon.

Randall was booked at the Plymouth House of Correction and was ordered held on $5,040 cash bail.

He is due for arraignment in Wareham District Court on Monday.
