A Plymouth County Grand Jury has indicted a Middleboro woman over charges of defrauding the state's Medicaid system.

The Massachusetts Attorney General's Office says that 53-year-old Mary Yost was indicted Tuesday on one count of Medicaid False Claims and one count of Larceny over $250 by False Pretenses.

Yost is accused of double-billing MassHealth for more than $86,000 between May 2009 and April 2014 by billing for personal care attendant (PCA) and adult foster care (AFC) services given to her disabled son simultaneously.

Authorities say Yost submitted timesheets which claimed that her other son personal care attendant to her disabled between June 2011 and April 2014.

However, the Attorney General's office says an investigation revealed that her son was working elsewhere or in college during some of these time periods she claims that the services were provided.

Yost will be arraigned in Plymouth Superior Court at a later date.
