Memorial Scholarship Poker Run Set For August 13 In Lakeville

The ninth annual Travis Albert Circle of Friends Memorial Scholarship Poker Run is set for Saturday, August 13, starting from the Ted Williams Loon Pond Lodge, at 28 Precinct Street in Lakeville. The stops this year to pick up poker cards will be the Star Drive-In, Plymouth Airport, and Shenanigans Bar & Grill.

According to South Coast Today.com, the poker run is a family event and everyone is invited.  There is a fee of $20 per person to participate in the run.  The sign in to register will take place from 9:30am to 11:30am.  Participants are also welcome to join the events BBQ, which will be fired up at 12:30pm with hamburgers and hotdogs available.

Participants will pick up five cards along the way to assemble a winning poker hand.  This year’s stops include the Plymouth Airport, Shenanigans Bar & Grill, and Star Drive-In.  All forms of transportation are welcome (four-wheeled cars, trucks & two-wheeled, motorcycles and scooters).

Tickets are available at Andrews Family Automotive at 79 Main Street in Lakeville and The Royal Cafe at 77 Center Street in Middleboro, or can be bought on the day of the event.
