Get the limes ready, tequila may be good for your health.  Researchers in Mexico say the natural sugars found in tequila could protect against obesity and type-two diabetes.

The liquor is made from the agave plant, which contains sugars called agavins.  The ingredient has been linked to a drop in blood glucose levels and weight.

Researchers say agavins could be used as a light sweetener in place of regular sugar.
