Would you eat more fast food from McDonald’s if they delivered it right to your doorstep? The burger mogul intends to find out exactly that when they unleash their new “McDelivery” early next year. The only problem? It's in Japan.

According to a recent report from Burger Business, McDonald's has witnessed a significant change in the way consumers in their second-largest market are choosing to dine. More and more customers are now opting to dine at home instead of at restaurants, a trend that led McDonald’s to explore a home delivery option.

Representatives from McDonald’s Japan say that they have been testing the McDelivery service for the past year, and it has yielded excellent results. With Burger King recently announcing delivery in selected boroughs of New York City, it may not be long before Ronald McDonald starts making deliveries right to your house.
