Boston Mayor Tom Menino Proclaims “Thanksgivingukkah”

This Thursday, November 28th has been named "Thanksgivingukkah" by Mayor Tom Menino.  That's because Thanksgiving coincides with the first day of Hanukkah.  That won't happen again for another 79,000 years. 

The mayor proclaimed that Boston's core values of unity, hope, and gratitude are the very values embodied by both Thanksgiving and Hanukkah.
