Mayor Mitchell Makes Two Appointments

New Bedford Mayor Jon Mitchell has made two appointments to vacant city positions.

According to published reports, Ari Sky from Fauquier County Va. has been named as the City's Chief Financial Officer at a salary 120 thousand dollars a year and James Hartnet of Fall River has been named City Planner replacing the retired David Kennedy at a  salary of little less than 74 thousand dollars a year. The City Council must still approve both appointments.
