Mayor Jon Mitchell Wants Keith Vandals Punished

New Bedford Mayor Jon Mitchell is making it clear that those responsible for the vandalism at Keith Middle School will be punished.

At least ten teens broke into the middle school Saturday night and vandalized school property, according to an email to School Committee Members from Chief Academic Officer Jason Defalco. Among the damage was graffiti in the auditorium, damaged video equipment, and food thrown about the community room.

Police are currently reviewing footage to identify the culprits.
