The Mayflower Two is back in the water and could be back in Plymouth as early as Wednesday.

The replica of the original Pilgrim sailing ship was removed from dry dock yesterday after eight months spent in the Fairhaven Shipyard.

Officials with the Plimoth Plantation say there were issues finding the proper oak planks to use in the ship's restoration.

If the ship passes a Coast Guard inspection today, it could on the way back to Plymouth Wednesday morning. (Metro Networks Inc.)
