Mattapoisett’s Freezin’ For A Reason Polar Plunge

This year, the fourth annual “Freezin' For A Reason Polar Plunge” will take place at Mattapoisett Town Beach on New Year’s Day at 12pm.

According to Sippican Village Soup.com, the event raises funds for the hidden costs for cancer patients and their families that are not covered by insurance, such as gas and parking for trips to the hospital and other bills.

All are invited to participate in the plunge on January 1st.
