A lot of security measures are going on at the 2012 Republican National convention in Tampa, Florida. So much in fact that many of the Massachusetts delegates cannot be reached.

According to Boston.com, many of the reporters who went down to Tampa to follow the State delegates at the convention, aren't currently allowed to speak with them. Heightened security is the reason fro this.

Law enforcement will not be letting anyone into the Marriot - wear most of the delegates are staying - in order to better maintain security. It's an understandable move, especially in this day and age. This will make it difficult for local reports to come out of the convention this year.
