A new study shows obesity in America is growing at a slower rate and Massachusetts is looking good.

According to the Trust for America's Health and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, West Virginia and Mississippi are the fattest states, tied with their 35-percent obesity rates while Colorado is the least obese state with 21-percent. Massachusetts comes in at 25-percent.

The deputy director of Trust for America's Health Richard Hamburg says there are more programs ijn place to keeop younger kids from becoming obese, but we need more programs for lower income communities.
