Holiday sales in Massachusetts are turning out weaker than the modest gains expected by the state's retailer's association. A report shows sales climbed just two percent in November and December from the same period in 2012. That lags behind national sales pegged at three-point-eight percent. The association says the slump is because of fewer shopping days, lousy weather, and more people shopping online.
