A new report says many Massachusetts high school graduates are not ready for college.  According to the Board of Higher Education, a good number of high school grads need to take remedial courses at college.  A third of all college freshmen from Massachusetts end up dropping out before finishing school.  State officials say the achievement gap could put a crimp in their goal of having 60-percent of adults obtain a college degrees by 2020.
