Massachusetts Group Rallies For Higher Taxes

At least some people are in favor of higher taxes. A coalition called "The Campaign for Our Communities" rallied with Governor Patrick at the State House Tuesday to support his 35-billion-dollar budget proposal.

Patrick seeks legislative and popular support for two-billion in new taxes. Patrick told the crowd of 600 we should "do for the next generation what our grandparents did for us."
