The Massachusetts State Police issued an Amber Alert on Monday night, but the children that were at risk have been found and are safe.

Update -- WCVB reports that the children were found in South Windsor, Connecticut at a 7-Eleven after a truck driver spotted the father's car. The father, Jon Jockwood, reportedly went peacfully, and the children were unharmed. The police are working on getting the children back to the foster home in Braintree.

Police say the two children's father, Jon Lockwood, entered the Braintree foster home and 'forcibly' removed his two children. His last known address was a hotel in Foxborough.

WCVB reports that the foster mother tried to fight off Lockwood, but was unsuccessful. An Amber Alert has been issued, and Massachusets State Police believe the children could be in serious danger, or risk of injury.

Authorities say that Lockwood drove off in a 1995 BMW 525i, with Mass. plates reading 478RF8.
