The Bay State's congressional delegation is urging President Obama to proceed with caution in Syria.

Congressman Stephen Lynch said Obama should get international support and consult with Congress before taking action. Senator Markey has said he might support a surgical strike, but would oppose US troops on the ground.

Yesterday Senator Warren said the US must have a goal in mind before moving forward. President Obama is considering US intervention following news that Syrian president Bashar Assad launched a chemical weapons attack on civilians.
