Martin Meehan Not Running For John Kerry’s Seat

Take one name off the list.  Former Congressman Martin Meehan says he's not interested in running for John Kerry's Senate seat. 

Meehan tells the "Lawrence Eagle-Tribune" he wants to focus upon his current job, which is being Chancellor of UMass Lowell.  That's notwithstanding the fact Meehan still has 4.6-million in his campaign war chest.  Pundits are trying to figure out who will run for Kerry's seat in a special election after he's snapped up by the White House to be Secretary of State.
