The 2012 season was supposed to be the farewell season for Yankee reliever Mariano River, but thanks to an unfortunate injury things did not go as planned.

Now, Rivera is back. He passed a physical for the New York Yankees and will wear the on stripes one more time.

When Rivera spoke to reporters on Wednesday he said that he will be ready to go by opening day. He said that they have three or four months to get things going and that his 'arm feels good'.
