Manhunt Underway After Trooper Killed In Shooting At PA Barracks

A police manhunt is underway in three states after an unknown gunman or gunmen shot and killed a Pennsylvania state trooper.

State Police Commissioner Frank Noonan said today a second state trooper was wounded in the ambush late last night at the Blooming Grove barracks, east of Scranton.

The shooter or shooters are still on the loose this morning.  Police in New York and New Jersey are also involved in the search.

Investigators have not issued any description of the possible suspects.
