Man Stabbed Outside New Bedford Bar

A man was stabbed and left in critical condition outside a New Bedford bar late Friday night.

According to police, a 28-year-old New Bedford man sustained a stab wound to the torso outside of The Hungry Whale on Elm and Pleasant Streets in New Bedford.

The man was transported to Rhode Island Hospital in critical condition and the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
