Another suspected heroin overdose behind the wheel of a vehicle in New Bedford.

New Bedford Police say around 4:30pm Monday, a passerby noticed a man slumped over the wheel of his truck at the intersection of Ashley Boulevard and Sawyer Street, just outside of the CVS Pharmacy. The alert man pulled the overdose victim out of his truck and into the CVS parking lot, performing CPR until paramedics and police arrived. The 31-year-old victim was revived with Narcan, and transported to St. Luke's Hospital.

Police found evidence of heroin use in the man's truck, including a hypodermic needle.
