Man Hospitalized After Fall River Garage Collapse

One man was hospitalized after a garage collapse in Fall River.

District Fire Chief Scott Flannery tells WBSM News the two unit residential garage collapsed around 8:45 a.m. Friday at 288 Underwood Street.

The man was trapped under the structure but police officers and firefighters were able to extract him and he was taken to Rhode Island Hospital.

His name and current condition hasn't been released.
