A single car crash early Saturday in the vicinity of 1071 Tucker Road in Dartmouth results in two passengers being injured, and the driver placed under arrest. The crash happened around 1am.

Det. Kyle Costa says the two injured passengers were taken to Rhode Island Hospital.  One was taken by ambulance, the other was transported by a medical helicopter. Their conditions are not known

The driver of the car, 21-year old Murat Terzi, was charged with driving under the influence, reckless operation, and a marked lane violation.  Police say Terzi suffered minor injuries and was treated at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford.

Tucker Road was blocked off for a time while Police cleared the scene.  Dartmouth Police continue to investigate.
