Encouraging volunteerism is an initiative that's been the centerpiece of Bristol County District Attorney Sam Sutter's Annual Volunteer Fair, Saturday, June 7, from noon to 3 p.m. inside the Dartmouth Mall, in front of Sears. The more community people get involved with helping youth, the less likely they'll engage in delinquent behavior.

With well over 30 different local agencies on hand to answer your questions about becoming a mentor, a coach, a helper or volunteer, from working with youth to assisting the elderly, the Community Volunteer Fair offers a one-stop opportunity to make a difference in someone's life.

Also at the BCDA Community Volunteer Fair, AT&T will have their "It Can Wait" distracted driving interactive booth, where you can sit behind the steering wheel while texting, and virtually experience the dangers of texting and driving!
