BOSTON — Maine Gov. Paul LePage says Massachusetts authorities are using "shakedown" tactics to collect tolls.

The Portland Press Herald reports LePage sent a letter to Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker last month detailing claims about Massachusetts's electronic toll system, EZDriveMA.

LePage says one Maine driver who contacted his office said he was charged multiple late fees by EZDriveMA and told his license would be suspended when his payment wasn't processed on time.
