It was planned as a joyous occasion, the matrimony of Lana Lima to Michael Gustafson, in Lowell. Family had flown in from Brazil, the bride looked beautiful and the nervous groom looked for the wedding rings, but were gone! Stolen were not only their rings but their marriage license and some other personal belongings from their locked car.

There weren't any visible signs of forced entry.  The wedding was postponed until they could  get another marriage license. As they approached the justice of the peace, with only the paper in hand, the justice of the peace handed the bride a ring that was given by someone who heard about their experience.

What a nice gesture! Let's hope their days ahead are brighter. \
