We all have different laughs...ever wonder why? New research suggests it's connected to psychology and human behavior. You might notice that you laugh more when watching a comedy with friends, than by yourself. Judi James, author of The Body Language Bible says, it's a form of strengthening your social bond.

"We all have a range of different laughs that we use for different purposes and circumstances. Most are within the 'social masking' spectrum-- that is, we do them to be polite or to create social bonds."

Psychology researcher Rober Provine adds, "Most classical laughs have a short, harmonic blast ('ha') about one-fifteenth of a second duration, that repeats every one-fifth of a second. It's hard to laugh in any other way. Try it." (Mashable)

Let's fill the world with all different kinds of laughter today! =D
