Local Than Sixth Grader’s Study NFL Injuries

Three Leominster, MA sixth grader's may have come up with an idea that's a touchdown! The youngsters, challenged through a great program called eCYBERMISSION, are challenged to find solutions to real life problems.

The trio decided to investigate why so many football players were suffering from concussions with their present day helmets. They researched different types of helmet design and padding, graphed it, and what they came up with is amazing!

In fact, these kids are on their way to Washington, D.C. to  present their findings at a national competition. A noted brain surgeon is excited over what these middle school students invented, as is the community of Leominster!
