Ed Markey No Response on Southcoast Senate Debate

There's still no response from the Edward Markey campaign about a possible senate debate in Southeastern Massachusetts.

June 19th is the most likely date for the Southcoast Alliance Senate debate. According to Southcoast Alliance Chairman Craig Dutra, Gabriel Gomez, has committed to that date, as has UMass Dartmouth and WJAR has agreed to televise it. Markey previously has said he would engage in three debates, and three already are scheduled: Wednesday at the Channel 4, June 11 in Western Massachusetts and June 18 at Channel 5. With just three weeks to go before the special election, time is bearing down on the local debate planners.
