Local Delegation Continues Tour Of Offshore Wind Cities In Europe

A delegation of business and government leaders is making their way through Germany, gathering information about the offshore wind industry in that country. 

The delegation is in Hamburg. 

Economic Development Director Matt Morrissey says the information from communities in Germany can prove invaluable for New Bedford.....

The State is investing $100 million dollars in the construction of a new Marine Commerce Terminal in the South End. 

When completed it will serve as a staging area for Cape Wind, and other offshore wind projects. 

The delegation is returning to New Bedford on Sunday, the 28th.
