Lindsey Vonn Airlifted To Hospital After Serious Crash

American skier Lindsey Vonn is in the hospital after a serious crash during a Super-G event in Austria.

Vonn's right leg buckled after she came over a slope, causing her to fall headfirst into the snow and crash into a gate.  According to ESPN, she was treated on the slope for 12 minutes. Vonn was then airlifted off the mountain but her condition has not been released. She was competing in the 2013 World Championships.
