Linda Ronstadt, 67, 11 time Grammy winner, revealed to AARP.org that she has Parkinson's disease and is no longer capable of singing because this condition attacks the central nervous system.

Although she was officially diagnosed about 8 months ago, she knew something was wrong because she couldn't sing due to weak muscles.

The sad part is Ronstadt didn't get it checked out when symptoms first appeared about 7 years ago. In hindsight, she confesses she should have had doctors look at her condition back when her hands started shaking.
