Librarian Rebuffs First Lady’s Donation

During my morning show, I mentioned how classless it was for a Cambridge elementary school librarian to snub a donation of books from First Lady Melania Trump, after the school was picked as the commonwealth's National Read-a-Book Day recipient by the White House who chose one school from each state to receive 10 Dr. Suess books.

Liz Phipps Soeiro, Cambridgeport Elementary School librarian, flatly turned down the donation while ripping Dr. Suess as a "cliche" choice. Soeiro went on to denounce the Trump Administration's education policy saying the case for school choice by parents shows this White House has no interest in the children. She also pointed out, that as a well educated librarian, she suggests the First Lady find another school that's attended by underprivileged kids that are being maligned and marginalized by Trump's Secretary of Education, Betsy DeVos! All this over a simple donation of books for the kids!

People like Soeiro want you to believe they stand on high moral ground, claiming to denounce stereotypes, but often use them to describe the people they hate. What a pathetic whiner! She doesn't understand 'that it's much better to know how to learn than to know.'
