Police Invesitgate BCC Laptop Thefts

New Bedford Police are investigating the thefts of 2 laptop computors from the B C C campus at 800 Purchase Street.

The thefts occured during the daytime on Wednesday and Thursday. Detective Capt. Steve Vicente says that it appears that a male & female working together appear to be the prime suspects. Police found one of the stolen laptops at a pawnshop on Union Street while the second one hasn't been found yet.

Police believe the male suspect is Antwan Wells whose last known address was in Roxbury but is believed to be staying in New Bedford. The unidentified female is white, about 5 feet tall and 20 years old with a tatoo on her neck. Anyone with information is asked to call New Bedford Police Detectives at 508-991-6300 ext 320
