Sears Holdings has recently announced that they will be closing several Kmart stores in the upcoming year. Luckily, the Kmart in Fairhaven is not one of them.

This announcement comes after the department store chain Macy’s announced that it plans to close 40 stores in the upcoming months.

According to Consumerist.com, here are the Kmart store chains that will be closing nationwide in the upcoming months:

March 2016: Honolulu, HI
March 2016: Lutz and Daytona, Florida
March 2016: Cleveland, TN
April 2016: Citrus Heights, Chula Vista, and San Mateo, CA
April 2016: Ottumwa, IA
April 2016: Mitchell and Pierre, SD
April 2016: Topeka, KS
April 2016: Pocatello, ID
April 2016: Logan, ID
April 2016: Superior, WI; Virginia and Ironwood, MN
