Secretary of State John Kerry will visit Egypt this weekend for the first time since the ouster of President Mohammad Morsi by the military in July.  More than a thousand people have been killed in anti-military demonstrations since.

The U.S. has been withholding some military aid to Egypt, which is straining relationships between the two countries.

Kerry will embark on a tour of several Middle Eastern countries from Sunday through November 11th. (Metro Networks Inc.)
